UpgradePath is a remote MCP server at https://upgradepath.io/mcp. The free tier needs no key. A paid key unlocks get_runbook and plan_upgrade.

`check_compat`	free	Which Kubernetes minors each add-on series supports, plus EKS support dates.
`upgrade_overview`	free	Severity and breaking-change titles for a from→to range, with any uncovered segments reported as gaps.
`get_runbook`	paid	The full runbook for each published segment in a range: breaking changes explained, migration steps, gotchas, verification and rollback.
`plan_upgrade`	paid	Per-add-on upgrade advisories for a fleet inventory against a target Kubernetes minor, ordered riskiest-first.

Free tier limits

100 requests per hour per IP. Past the limit the server answers 429 with a link to get a key.
